I am a small business owner and needed a EIN I got on a site that I thought was Federal Government application for the EIN. I was charged $150.00 for the service which looked almost exactly like the government site. One problem is that they now have all my personal data including my social security number. I called the credit card service and got my account adjusted, I hope. Make sure you only use sites that are government sites service site are usually a ripoff.
