I agreed to to a $2.97 for free info as per their advertisement. I was called within 5 minutes by someone who identified themselves as Grant Assist asking if I wanted to get additional help for a monthly fee. I refused.
On 10-31-11, my checking account showed a debit of $57.93. I called customer service at 888-632-5590. They said when I pressed the enter that I agreed to the terms of "if not cancelled within 7 days..." I told them about the phonecall that occurred within 5 minutes of me pressing the enter button and they said "Oh no that could not have been our company we don't do that." She could not explain how someone familiar with their product could have called me so quickly.
I do not recall the terms "Cancel within 7 days" or I NEVER would have pressed enter. This a scam!!! A scam I cannot afford. They are preying on those in need of hope. It is disgusting.
