While at work, I received a phone call from my neighbor, that PGW was at my home. He inquired why they were there, but the PGW rep would not respond citing confidentiality. They came to the home to shut off my services. I was shocked and had no idea that I was in any danger of being shut off!
I called PGW, and was told that I was in arrears of $150. I stated that my current bill shows $227 due on November 17th! It is only October 31st. And the bill of course does not mention anything about a shut-off. Phone rep of course cant help me b/c the system was not updated, told to call back in one hour. Called back 2 hours later, and still system not updated. This time a nasty rep said there was NOTHING that can be done about this. PGW does not provide warning. She nastily says "it in the system that we talked to you on 09/27 advising of shut off. That was a lie. I remember vividly calling PGW on 09/27. The lady told me to "disregard" their phone call, as I had made payment of $500 on Sept 16th. They are such liars. I then requested to speak with a supervisor, and was told "its not our policy", and that a supervisor will return my call within 24 hours. Im not counting on it. I will call tomorrow to file a complaint against this company. Ridiculous.
