After clicking through from a site that promoted QuiBids, leaving me with the impression that they were running a promotion of first bids free with free registration, I registered with QuiBids, not realizing that I was paying for the "free" bids. Thinking that the bids I had were a free promotion, I bid and won a gas card. The following day when I looked at my bank account and realized that QuiBids had scammed me and pulled $62.50 out of my checking account without my knowledge or permission, I canlled QuiBids customer service in a panic (I needed that money to pay bills!) but was told that there was no promotion, and the information that they would take $60.00 from my account was somewhere located in the fine print and I had in fact agreed to let them steal money from me. Despite my insistance that I did not want the gas card, they sent it to me three times and I returned it each time, telling them through email that I wanted my $62.50 back. At one point I gave up and asked them to close my account and delete all my banking information to which their rep told me she had done as I requested (I have all emails proving all of this). The lasted email I received from them was to tell me they had refunded $0.01 to my account, the same account that they had previously told me they had deleted from their system per my request. I also received another email from them stating that I had not responded to any of the customer service emails, which I had. Again, I have saved all my emails with QuiBids, proving that they lied to me repeatedly and refused to refund the money they stole from me.
