I created an account with QuiBids, entering my debit card information because QuiBids offered a promo for new customers of free bids. I signed in and bid on a $10.00 card for Shell, which I won for $2.50.
The next day when I checked my bank account, QuiBids was not only charging me the cost of the gas card which was $2.50 but also $60.00.
I contacted their customer service rep, who told me that the $60.00 fee was for the bids I used that were suddenly not part of the free promotion for new customers, yet I did NOT order them. So, according to QuiBids, I bought a $10.00 gas card for $62.50. The QuiBids customer service rep refused to refund the $60.00, saying it was impossible since I had already used the bids.
Since I had no knowledge of buying 100 bids for $60.00 nor would ever intentionally make the ridiculous purchase of a $10.00 gas card for $62.50, QuiBids should refund my $60.00 and stop scamming people.
