Received a letter from Allen Securities stating that I have won $50K. Enclosed was a check for $2,670 to cover the taxes. Letter stated to call "Dave Moore" at (Personal Info Removed)."Dave" asked for Claim No. (which I gave him); stated for me to deposit the check asap and to call back after deposit for more instructions. I asked for detail info and he repeated the info... I told him that I had been involved in a "scam" before and that I didn't believe him and I would look into the situation more thoroughly before depositing the check. He hung up on me! I am so grateful that I checked the source online and found them to be false advertisers. I hope that anyone who has received the same letter checks this site before making any deposits.
