I noticed two identical charges for $39.90 in my bank statement. One was from a business called RH Magazine 877 715 0398 the other business was CM ID Ease 877 708 5685. I called these 877 numbers and asked them what these charges were for. I spoke with a customer service rep for RH Magazine and she said that I subscribed to Car and Driver Magazine. I said, for 39.90 a month for a magazine I never got and for one issue, $39.90? She said, no. You are also subscribed to Golf World and Auto Mechanics. Wow, I was mad now. I told her I don't even have any interest in either of these magazines and asked her WHO picked these magazines for me? She said I could change them to something else? Oh man, I was pissed now. I told her to CANCEL everything and credit my account back to July! She said that she could only credit me back 60 days, I said no, and demanded to speak to a supervisor. I got transfered and told that supervisor that I don't want any part of this scam! Credit my account back to July and I demanded a confirmation number and and cancel confirmation number and to remove me from their call list! She tried to talk me into keeping the magazines until I threatened to report this to my Fruad Department with my bank. She said that, that was neccessary, I have credited your account for $159.60.
I called the other corrupt business and they said that I signed up for a Buyer Club that I was supposed to get all these different discounts at restaurants and stores. I asked her who how she got my credit card information and she said, that is complicated. We get credit card numbers from a number of different sources. I told her to credit my account back to July. She canceled my account and credited my for $39.90 / 1 month. And I said NO. I want to be credited back to July! She did the samething, I was transferred to a supervisor and had to go through the samething with her! She finally credited my account $119.70. These people are CROOKS! They are stealing a lot of money from a lot of different people, and if the average joe out there doesn't check their account regularly, they could be victims of these Pigs too!
They told me my credit should post in 3-5 business days. I hope that i don't run into any more problems trying to collect my money owed to me.
