My husband and I purchased a Samsung LCD TV 55" on July 30 from HH Gregg. When we were getiing ready to pay, the sales rep (James D. Cunnigham - who no longer works there) suggested the extended warranty plan to us for $499.99. We were not going to purchase this plan until he went on to state that it would cover any and all damage, specifically citing Wii controlers being thrown into the screen. Our tv screen got broken and reported to the warranty company and they sent a tech to our home. The tech told us that the damage isn't covered by the warranty, though we were told otherwise.
I went into the store where we purchased the tv to speak to the manager and was told he couldnt do anything for me and told to me to contact their corporate office. I had the store manager call the corporate office where I was told by a rather rude woman that there was nothing they could do for me since she "wasn't there when the sales person said that." I than asked for her boss and was told it was the company CEO. When I asked to speak to the CEO and was then told "I am the highest person in bthis company you can speak to."
Now, I am thouroughly frustrated and upset and dont know quite where to go from here.
