My girlfriend and I enjoy doing mud races (on foot). There are numerous different races out there. We did one back in August that really set the standard. However, the one we did on 22 October was not what it was billed to be. We signed up to do the Iron Crusader race at 75 dollars each because their website said they would have tunnels, ropes, nets and quicksand. All of this sounded very exciting to us, so we happily shelled out our ticket money along with a full tank of gas to make the 3 hour drive each way and 10 dollars to park. When we got there to run the race, we found no ropes, nets, tunnels or quicksand. What we did find was one little wall to jump over, a pile of logs, a pile of tires and a trail run that did not seem to be the 3.5 mile course that was promised. When i posted my disappointment on their Facebook page it was promptly deleted along with many other peoples negative comments. I feel scammed by false advertising and feel i am entitled to my money back.
