I replied to an advert online for a free trial offer for the above products paying just $4.95. For shipping. This amount was taken out of my account. After a week I decided that I wished to cancel my order because of things I had seen online about this company. At this time the only option to cancel, known to myself was to e-mail them. After five attemps I was forced to concede defeat because my e-mails were returned as failed. At this point of time I was unaware of any telephone number for them. After about 2 weeks I was shocked to find that a sum of £58.13 was taken from my account. At this point, I contacted my bank, who very kindly obtained a telephone number for me. I have on 2 occasions contacted these people, to advice them of my wish to cancel, only to be told that I had come through to the wrong department. I was kept on the phone both times for about 2 mins before the phone, I believe was deliberately put down on me. I have made a complaint to my own british trading standards officer ans also consmer rights people. Please note that, once these people have your money, they most certainly do not want you to contact them. Could you advise us of anywhere in america, where we could further our complaint against these people, not just for our own benefits, but in order to assist other people who may fall for the same scam.
