On Oct. 17 I received a call from Superior Marketing Group. I talked to PAUL WHITE who said he said he is the coach. They are the ones who provides TV advertising for my website that Streamline Online provided. Paul said, “Congratulations! Now that I am an Amazon associate, and to better help my business they offered to do TV advertising to create traffic to my website and to generate sales. Paul White said they they charge one time fee of $18,000 for 5,000 targeted customers, guaranteed, but would offer me a special deal of just $9000.00 to this. HALF PRICE—Great Deal! But I have to promise to send them a Christmas card on Christmas Day. I said OK. I told him wait a minute, how do I know that you are legit and this is not a scam? He said Amazon is multi Billion Company and that they needed help to guide people to the website. I told him that if I wanted anything from Amazon, I went directlyu there. He assured me that many people were not that savvy, and that when they looked for items, they would do a general websearch to find what they were looking for. He led me to believe that people would find my site by doing a general search, but that my personal website was needed, too. He said congratulations and I will now email you something so check it out. I opened my email while Paul was on the phone and I told him that I'm reading the conditions. “He asked do you see a yellow tab saying click here? ” I said, “Yes” and he said, “ Click that.” I said, “there's a document that pop up on a new windows and it has a fake signature on it.” He said, click on it.” I said, “wait I’m still reading the condition.” He said, “don’t worry about that and you can have that later on.” He said, “Clicked adapt and I just did what he told me.” I was a tricked. I asked, “ How can I read and go back to the condition? ” and he said it's in the email. He put me on hold and passed me to Karah to verify the account and passed me to Paul. Paul congratulated me again and says he will keep in touch. He also asked me to call this # 1800-961-6583 I said, “what will I say? ” He said “Tell them that you just bought advertising and you want to know how to make changes in your website” and I just did that and talked to Evan. The number I called was Streamline Online (online website maker). After I hung up the phone, I was more confused as to what just happened. I have more questions like how can I know what the advertising looks like? What channel they are going to air it? Does it guarantee a sale? Are they going to email me something or am I going to receive it by mail? The credit card had not posted, fortunately, after two days. I cancelled the card with no transaction made. I called and told Superior Marketing that I was cancelling the contract per Federal Mandate of major purchases being able to be canceled within 3 days. The phone clerk told me it was not company policy, but that a supervisor would get in touch. I am now waiting for that call. I told him that I want to cancel the service because my husband was upset about me signing up since I don't have an actual store. I am just a link to amazon.com and the "promised" 15% commission will not be enough to pay my credit card on time. I don't have that cash on hand to pay it up. My husband told me that it’s a scam. I
fell for the scam. Now, I have registered a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General against Superior Marketing Group, LLC. I am also waiting for a call from the "supervisor" of Streamline, Online LLC, the website manager, for a refund of the money spent for the website. So, if someone calls you about making more money —just say no thanks and hang up the phone. Don't be another victim.
