I understand everybody has a bad day every now and then, and probably not in the mood to talk. But as a customer, I do expect there would be at least a greeting and thank you. What happened to me today is that when I got to the cashier, there was no greeting, no thank you, whatsoever. I consider this is just plain rude, especially the cashier had greeted and talked to the previous customer. Does this particular Target trains its employees to just greet certain customers and not others? I think they do need to retrain their employees in this regard.
