I brought my 2 dogs to be trained by one of Andy's trainers a year ago. I was pleased with their guarantee and the reviews I read. I wanted to get the best training possible and I hoped that I made the right decision.
During the 3 weeks my dogs were there I called and spoked to John and he told me how dumb my dogs were and they wren' t making the expected progress, but said that working with 2 together takes more time. One thing they offer their customers was a video tape of their dogs in training (something we never received). When we were called and told that our dogs were ready to be picked up we arrived for our training and saw the dogs had lost several pounds (they were not over weight) and all they're beautiful muscle tone was gone! After 30 minutes of owner training we were told that our dogs were too tired for further training. Our trainer and Andy then joked that John could train a dog in 15 minutes which me suspect that my dogs didn't have the training I had hoped and paid for!
When we got home we started right away with training and the most difficult problems that we were assured had resolved was not changed one bit, not with a shock collar or anything! I called them for help and just heard how annoyed they were talking to me. When I asked about their guarantee I was told it would take them 10 minutes to retrain and I could come back for that. If in 3 weeks specific problems weren't resolved, how would 10 minutes of training do anything?!
I would have more training done if I could be certain that my dog was being fed and exercised adequately.
