Priceshuffle.com advertised their site that you could go register up and check out site before paying any charges or fees and was not required to purchase anything. If later you liked what you saw you could then buy bids, but, as soon as you register it requested credit card details supposedly so they would have the information for when you wanted to buy bids. BUT they actually used credit card to buy bids (got charged 149.99) as soon as you registered and after calling them I was told that they did not refund monies for bids. I explained that I was only looking at site as they had advertised and wasnt interested in buying bids. They insisted they had done nothing wrong and refused to refund. I decided that if I had purchased them and they where not willing to do refund that I may as well use them. I actually won couple items and even some more bids, wasnt good as I could have brought same things local from retailers here and paid just as much. The auction start prices and shipping seemed like someone had thought up a figure, added couple dollars and you would see same items in same auctions but at totally different start prices. The shipping was one of 2 prices no matter what you got... You could win something they would mail in jiffy bag and pay $9.99 or something MUCH larger and only pay $4.99 that seemed to be controlled by what side of bed the person who decided prices and shipping got out that morning.
Now to add insult to injury their site has basically been down for several months, with NO new items on bidding page and even if you went to site all auctions had ended no matter what time you logged in.
Contacting customer service was waste of time, never get replies.
Now I find you cannot even get to the site and I had 648 bids in my account (thats a value of $400) and I would like to get that money back if they are not going to run site, as now under the terms of THEIR contract I should be entilled to refund for those.
This company (owners) should be taken to court on Class action because i know there are lots more people out there who would love to get their money back or at least some refund.
Are there no lawyers willing to take these people on and make money?
