I recently bought an item off of the yournutz.com website. They sell the novelty balls for your truck. They have a great lil website, actually several of them. They even have little clips about each of their different types of balls. I bought their huge 16" monster nuts for 49.95, I added a lipsticker for $12 and bought their nut lock for $12 PLUS I paid $10 for shipping.
As it turns out the nutz are cheap plastic and HOLLOW. This is the first time I have EVER seen these novelty nutz hollow. They NEED to have some weight to them or they will get trashed hanging from the back of your truck. They are just going to flap around in the wind hitting the truck and get damaged the first time you go out. These are so cheap that if a rock flies up and hits them, it will put a hole right thru them. NOt to mention what about winter? When these get cold and freeze the second they get even a little resistance they will just completely snap. Their little clip makes them look like they have some weight and are not hollow. They just use tricks to get you to think they are actually a quality product. They are so cheap the RETAIL price should be about $10 NOT the $50 they charge.
Then we have the lips. For $12 all they do is slap a cheap sticker on the nutz. It will peel off the second you go thru the car wash. They do NOT take any steps to assure the sticker stays attached firmly and won't come off at the first sign of water. Complete waste of money. This should retail for about $5, and that's being generous.
Lastly, and the possibly the biggest rip off, their nut lock. This is just hilarious actually. You need to buy a separate cable, chain etc to attatch these nutz to your truck. This IS standard when you buy them no matter who you buy them from. HOWEVER, what they sell you is not the same. Here for your $12 what you get is a GUN LOCK. Yep, that's right, they send you a gun lock that ANYONE can get completely free at their local police station. It even comes with the instructions on how to thread it through your gun to securely lock your gun. So needless to say, this item should be FREE, $0.
To add insult to injury they tell you that they need a 10 day processing time because of the size of the product. They give you the impression that this is more like a special order product and needs extra time for production. That is NOT true at all. This is an IN STOCK item.
I have emailed them about getting my money back and haven't heard anything. Thank God I paid thru paypal and can get my money back thru them. DON"T BUY THIS CRAP.
Go to bullsballs.com They may not be as big but at least they are quality.
