No paper... It appears that in order to save money, the L.A. Times has switched to a less expensive plastic bag to protect the paper from moister, it is of such poor quaility that it tears when thrown and the paper is ruined..
Upon calling in to complain, I was informed that a new paper would be delivered within 45 minutes and no paper came. Upon the second call I was informed that a paper would be delivered in 45 minutes and she would call the local area to insure that the paper would be delivered. When the paper was not delivered a third call to the Los Angeles Times ws made, I was told that the company has now run out of news papers and no paper would be delivered today. My first call was at approximately 8 AM and my last call was at noon. It took 4 hours to be told if I was to read your paper today it would be necessary to make a trip to either a store or newspaper rack. Neither is possible at this time.
