Mooseheaddry48 (on eBay) He sold me a fake Amy Winehouse autographed photo, and when I pointed out that it was fake — and that his "Certificate of Authenticity" was no way verifiable, he refused to contact me. As Ms. Winehou

I ordered an item (an Amy Winehouse autograph) from a seller on eBay site whose item is supposedly a fake. EBay pulled the auction, and when I reached the seller to ask what happened (I also hadn't received the item at that time, which was also a tip-off, as he claimed to "ship next day").

Eventually, the item did arrive, but it was not as described at all, and I believe whole-heartedly that it is a fake. The "COA" company has no reachable contacts, number of authenticity and no web, YP or other presence, and the seller has been on the offense from the beginning as to the "authenticity" of the item, and can't seem to respond to my questions about the certificate holder or a mailing address where I need to return the item (which, if it were real like he states, could likely sell for 5x more than the original price, as the Amy Winehouse autographs are now going for significantly more).

Furthermore, when I spoke to a friend of mine who works for eBay's legal dept. AND with another friend who worked with Amy's promotions house a few years ago, and when I sent her a photo of the picture, she told me there was no way it could be real. If it was real, he could make SO much more money off the item; if it was indeed authentic, he can likely sell it at any reputable auction house, right?

I still have not received a refund from eBay; I tried to send the item back, but it came back after eBay's cutoff date as "not having been received" and I feel as if I've been doubly hurt by the business practices of both companies, though it's Mr. KJ Pelletier who, in my opinion, is the real problem here.
