Like an idiot I fell for the "free sample" come-on from Slimlean. I never did receive the free samples, but over a month later received a shipment of two bottles of pills (which I stupidly thought was the free sample) and, a week later, a further shipment of two bottles of pills. Because I am recovering from surgery, I neither used the pills nor did I check my VISA statements until today. When I saw that they had already billed me for $360.00, I phoned VISA who advised me to send a registered letter of cancellation. I then phoned the number which another victim had posted online (1-866-942-9990) and got a customer service representative who didn't sound at all surprised at my anger. Since I had not received the "free sample" and since I had not opened the other four bottles, she assured me that she had cancelled my account and that upon receipt of the four bottles and a letter of cancellation, sent to the address on the shipping label, I could expect a refund on my VISA within a few weeks. I am not holding my breath!!! But I am sending the bottles back and will certainly inform VISA if I don't get a refund.
