Got a check in the mail for $2498.00 along with a letter from Lippmann Market Research and the evaluation form. Letter said to deposit the check, wait a day and then withdraw the money for the "assignment". I was supposed to use Western Union or Money Gram to wire $1990.00 $158.00 for fees. I was supposed to keep $300 and spend the remaining $50 at a retail store. It sounded fishy. Glad I did a search and found this site. The check would have bounced and I could be out over $2000.
