JDR Marketing - Aurora Marketing Group - Cydor
JDR Marketing, Inc, Aurora Marketing Group, Cydor ripoff dishonest withheld money fradulent liars!

Am a recent college graduate and had a job as Marketing Director for a home health agency. My boss and I didn't get along very well and I absolutely hated the way he thought marketing should be done. So, I applied for many jobs. Two of which got phone calls the next day. One from Aurora Marketing Group and the other from JDR Marketing, Inc. Set up interviews for the next day at both places. I could not find a webiste for Aurora Marketing Group but found one for JDR Marketing. Took a look, it looked professional.

Went to the first interview at Aurora Marketing Group. There were many other people waiting for interviews and the interviewer rushed through the interviews-about 7 minutes each. She told me about the company, that they worked on many fortune 500 companies campaigns. Cool. She said she'd call by the end of the day to let me know about a second interview.

On to the next interview at JDR Marketing. Very nice office building and I was the only in there waiting for an interview - which made me feel special - "they had only chosen me!" Anyways, the interviewer was much more relaxed and told me about the company, that they represent many fortune 500 companies. Asked me some very interesting questions about my degree, that on a normal interview, wouldn't have been asked. She was very impressed with me (as I am sure about everyone else)... And scheduled the second interview for the day after next. I was so excited - a marketing firm who represents fortune 500 companies.

However, neither marketing firm told me about Cydcor... Not on the preliminary interview or on the Day of O. On my Day of O, I expected to go along with the Top Account Manager to these fortune 500 companies and give professional presentations to their Head Honcho's. I certainly did not expect to walk door-to-door selling SBC accounts to unsuspecting people.

But, my leader showed me the money... She made about $200.00 that day. I went back to the office, and was hired on the spot. I left, my leader called me that night to tell me Congrats! I thought this was extremely off the wall...

I started work there the following week. I made money my third day... I made money every day after that until I had a premanagement meeting. At this meeting, many things were discussed including MONEY after you are promoted out into your own office. I didn't like how that worked... It set a bad tone for the day for me. (Mind you, this was two days after I drove to Dallas for an unpaid Leadership seminar.) I went out into the field and had a bad morning. About noon, I called my boyfriend, which was a big no-no in JDR's eyes. I called him because I was having an awful day... He listened and gave me some advice. I left the field and drove straight home. I quit. I emailed my boss and told him. This was his reply:

"the field is not an easy thing. This type of work is also not for everyone. I wish you luck in all that you do. Hopefully you learned some things while here that will be applicable towards your future. We will send your paychecks out to you, but before we do, we need you to return your book, badge and parking pass. Please bring these in as soon as you can so that there will be no delay in you receiving your paycheck. (as per the employment agreement). Good luck in all that you do.
If you have any questions... Do not hesitate to call."

Needless to say, I mailed in my badge, parking pass, and book... And got the hell out. However, the paychecks were a totally different deal... I called him and emailed him everyday about my paychecks... He held all my paychecks until my final paycheck and mailed them at once.

I wish I had had the gumption to do internet searches on these companies before the interview... But how was I to know that they were Cydcor Subsidiaries?
