Consumer Report

We attended a presentation on Worldwide Travel. We actually bought the travel package and were told we had 48 to cancel. We were also given a "free" cruise voucher. We were told we had 48 hours to cancel the the contract. Once we left we realized it was not worth the money. Ten minutes after leaving the presentation we called to cancel. They did not sound happy and informed us that we had to cancel in writing. We activiated the free cruise voucher on July 25th, by sending the $248 for port charges. I took almost 7 weeks for the "Reservation form" to arrive.in it it asks for an additional $399 per person for port charges, taxes and service fees, plus $49 per person for reservation processing fee. No one could give any information, until I fill out and return the "reservation form". This company is a scam. I am an avid cruiser and know that the port charges and fees are very minimal. After adding up all the charges Ultimate Executive Travel is requesting, my "free cruise" is not exactly free. I will get a better deal booking through Carnival direct. I have requested a refund of my $248. I will take legal action if I have to. This company is a scam and should be put out of business.
