Man calls me, on saturday sept 17th. Tells me not to speak at all until he was finished talking. Says hes an attorney and that i was being sued on three counts of fraud. He stated i borrowed money from a lender online and it was put into my checking account card. He stated they tried getting the money off my card and because they couldnt i basically stole from them. He told me to be ready monday (sept 19th) because they were coming to get me and putting me in jail for 2 months...
He then asked me if i had any questions and i said well yeah i really dont remember any borrowing money and before i could say anything else he hung up on me... I then called my credit card company just to make sure and i had no deposits other than my direct deposit from work. I called him back and asked him who it was that i got the money from and he told me cash advance usa. He said they gave me 300 dollars but i now owed them over 700. He stated again just to be ready to go to jail. He wished me good luck and hung up again. He also called some of my family members. The mans name is steve jones. 951-489-0233.
