I was reading an article in a free newsletter that I suscribe to. I am disabled, and, I am so very desperate for a cure to my condition that I do as much reading as I can. I get a pop up from this place called New Health Detox, which promised a free 5 day sample, for just a simple 2.95 shipping and handling charge. Nowhere did I see any small print regarding a forced 30 supply that I would be charged 79.99 anywhere in a 2" x 2" article that they snag unwitting peope with.
I got a hugh surprise when my husbands bank account was charged 79.99 on 8/18. I received a hugh bottle of suppliments? Where is the free 5 day sample that was promised?
I called to complain that they had no right to go into my husbands bank account, since, I am not on that account how the hell did they do it? Not a problem for these scumbags. My mortgage check bounced, my gas & elec check bounced and I have been calling since 8/20.
It is now 9/13 and after promise after promise still not refund? I did forget to mention that they also charge you a re-stocking fee of approx 10.00, which, is also not in the 5 day free trial offer.
I am disabled, I live on a disability check down to the penny, these animals are getting away with this? How?
