This came as an advertisement in another site. I decided to take them up on the "free" pay shipping and handling only offer. It had Dr. Oz and Opra's name to it I figured for $4.95 why not give it a try.
Exactly 14 days later a charge came on my card for $49.95, my bank called me to see if I'd authorized the charge. I did not recall it and called the number on my statement.
Here is the deal; you order the "free supplements after 14 days if you do not call them the bill you for the "free bottle" automatically. I told them I hadn't had the time to really see if this product works. I was told that if I sent the bottle back, UNOPENED, I could get my money returned. How do you get a "free trial" and then get billed for it? How do you try a product if you cannot return the "unused portion"? If you never opened the bottle you never tried the product.
I talked to the supervisor (Joel) and they are going to charge me a 15% restocking fee and take off the $49.95, I will be paying another $7 and change for my "free product".
There is another product they offer with this and it is called Exact Detox, I am contacting them now to insure they have not put me on an auto delivery as well. You don't call the same number for them; you have to go to their web site my diet partner.com to register a complaint.
You can obtain Acai & a detox at your local health food store and I will go there from now on if I am happy with the results of this combination.
Watch out for the scams - there are so many on the internet.
