I am writing as a girlfriend of a former Yasny employee. My boyfriend moved down to San Diego to live with me, and was hired with Yasny. At first we both thought it would be a great opportunity for him to make a great salary. That thought would soon be replaced with that of long nights and no money coming in.
I soon started referring to Yasny as a cult-like environment and a pyramid scheme, brainwashing my boyfriend into believing that he would be able to retire at the age of 35 with millions in his pocket. If that were possible everyone would be doing it.
My boyfriend would leave for the office at 6:00 A.M. And would not return until 8:00 P.M., and for what? Most of the time he spent away from home was not working out in the field trying to earn money, but he was in these "meetings" boosting spirits and morale, "Sell, sell, sell!" was a term I often heard him use.
He is the type of person that gives 110% in everything that he does, and even that wasn't enough for this company to make it. What kind of company makes you travel half way across the U.S.in a car and pay for your expenses - none that I've ever heard of, especially when they're making a nice percentage off of what you make?
After 7 long months of employment it was finally over - he could finally have a normal life, but he never received his last paycheck (while it was not much money, it's still his), and now come tax time he still hasn't received his W2 and it's APRIL - it's time to take these complaints to a new level. The labor board needs to get involved and the Better Business Bureau for that matter.
For all of you former Yasny employees I feel your pain, and for you people still sticking up for that sorry excuse for a company I feel sorry for you - you should seek some professional help.
I believe what goes around comes around, and the people who formed this company will one day get what they deserve, maybe they'll all end up in jail for tax evasion or something.
