In Jan I was audited by IRS and owed around $25,000.00 from 2010. I hired JK Harris Firm and I paid them a total of $4,390.98 to work my case. They kept Giving me the run around and said that they were still working on my Case. I hired them in March and paid them $2,160.00 for Phase I. Almost eight weeks went by, I called them and said that this is not working out and I am getting letters from the IRS for payment arrangements.in June i called JK Harris Company and told them that the IRS Had Placed a tax Levy on my pay, and that I wanted a refund on what I had paid them, because the IRS has already taken action against me. Mr. Eron Thomas called me and said that he would call his supervisor, Mr. Roger Radcliff and have the Levy stopped. He assured me that this would happen before my next pay period. He then said that in order to settle with the IRS, we had to now start phase II in order to get a settlement. The settlement was $2,149.98. I asked Mr. Thomas Twice will the levy be stopped, and after this money is paid to the IRS will this case be closed? He assured me both times that my problems would be over and this case would be closed. Well the levy didn't Stop, and JK Harris Stopped returning my phone calls. I wrote a letter to the QAD division of JK Harris asking them to stop withdrawing money from my account. I also asked for a refund of the money which i paid them, because they had not provided a service to me at all. I hired JK Harris to avoid the IRS from placing a levy on my pay, and to reach a settlement. They did neither. To Date they are still trying to withdraw money from my account. I want everything I paid and if I can get some help from a law firm in Baton Rouge, La. That would be great.
It cost me a lot of money and added to what I owe IRS and put me further behind. I am at the point now that my car is subject to Repo, and all of my bills are behind. Right is right and wrong is wrong. I just want my money back so that i can try to catch up on my late Bills.
