JK Harris Tax Consultants
Misrepresented their services, took my money and did nothing

I am a disabled Vietanm veteran and my only source of income is my disability check. The IRS claimed I owed back taxes from over 10 years prior.

I contracted the JK Harris Tax Consultant Law firm to remedy my income tax situation. The contract was for about $4,000. After about two years of their doing nothing towards my tax problem I stopped paying them.in total I paid about $3,000. The IRS was claiming I owed over $50,000.

I also pay a monthly service called "Pre-Paid Legal. I had them write a letter to the IRS and in less than one month the IRS ended their claim of my debt.

JK Harris had over 2 years and $3,000 of my my time and money to do their job. On one occassion the IRS was going to increased their levy on my disability check. I called my JK Harris representative and she had no idea of what to do. I took care of it myself with a simple phone call to the IRS.

I pay Pre-paid Legal Services less than $30 per month. And in less than a month they resolved the situation. JK Harris cost me over $20,000 in unnecessary tax levies plus the money I paid them for their. I have requested that JK Harris re-pay all of the money I paid them and some of the extra IRS levies their incompetence cost me. They offered a partial repayment but not near what they have cost me.

JK Harris's TV advertisements say they hire previous IRS agents and know the inside of the IRS system. My opinion, JK Harris Law firm is a fraud. They misrepresent their capability and they do not hold up their end of their contract and they do not acknowledge their failure and costs of it.

I would never recommend JK Harris to anyone and their should be a class action law suit against them and they should be disbarred.
