After attending a travel seminar for Global, my husband and I were given 2 round trip airline tickets, and an 8 day cruise departing from any major US port. However, in order to claim these gifts, we needed to send in a $99 refundable deposit in the form of a cashier's check for each totaling $198.00.
After receiving the stipulations, time frames and costs related to these gifts, the expense was going to be more than actually booking the flights and cruise on our own. We requested our money back immediately in writing on 6/15 and sent it certified mail. After receiving no response, my husband and I tried to reach ETTSI by phone which was next to impossible. None of their paperwork has a phone number on it. Finally, with a lot of detective work on my part, I was able to leave a message requesting that our $198 be refunded to us. Someone did eventually get back to me saying to expect a check within the next 45-60 days with our refund. 60 days has come and gone without any more communication from them or a check.
