Project Payday tells you that if you do sign up for offers they will pay you within hours of your joining. I found that when I got into the site that almost all required spending money (thankfully, I didn't have any), and then you had to sign up for more sites that cost money. I quit doing anymore after signing up for two things - first a "free" two month trial of People and Time magazines, and the other for a game site. I managed to cancel the game site, but will have to wait for the magazines to come in before cancelling them. I never made a dime from them! Definitely a scam.
