There was an ad in the newspaper for extras for a movie. It said make up to 300 dollars a day. I called the number and everything seemed normal, asking name and email, but then the lady on the phone started talking about a portfolio that I had to pay for. The cost was a 1.98 and then a charge of a dollar to put the portfolio on there site and make me a member for 14 days, so that directors could see it. That is when she asked for my credit card information. She keep saying that I would be contacted within 90 days, to be an extra for a movie. The lady also gave me a number
(1-800-508-0298) to call if I had any concerns or questions. She also gave me her name (Kaylee).
As soon as I got off the phone my friend said that it was a scam and I need to cancel my credit card. My friend said that they would never ask for my credit card information to be an extra.
