Oh yeah, they conveniently "lost" my great deal on a Tanzanite won at auction, etc.; some other stones and pieces of jewelry received were inferior to those shown on T.V. Or their website.
Apparently the goods shown are best case scenarios rather than what you may typically receive on orders: for example, a Morganite with a rich peachy pink color arrived significantly lighter, lovely clear stones may come with ugly inclusions, a ring may be sent with a stone having a gaping window, etc.
And then there's the infamous class action lawsuit concerning fraudulent "must invest in", "highly collectable" Andesine Labradorite that was presented as natural rather than treated: lost a few hundred on that fiasco, no real satisfaction from the outcome... I wonder: was their inflated deceptive product price worth the cost to them? Ha! We're the ones that really lost.
To be fair though, I have gotten many really nice things from them at great prices.
