Back in 2008 I received a phone call from this company stating that they would be able to help me with my credit cards, by lowering the interest rate and helping me pay off these cards in a reasonable time. I signed up with this company for a one time fee of $795.00 which they charged my visa card on July. When they called my visa company to see if they would lower my card i was advised that Visa would not do this. At this time I told Innovative Wealth Builders that I just received in the mail a letter from Discover stating that if I do a balance transfer their will be no interest for 12 months.innovative Wealth told me that I should do this and to only put 1800.00 of a balance transfer on this so it would not do a overdraft and charge me for this. So at this time i did so. My Discover was then paid off with no balance in 2011.in June I received another letter from Discover stating that if I did a balance transfer again I will be charged no interest for 15 months. Thinking about this long and hard, I called Discover to go over this with them and this is when I was told I have a charge that was just put on my card for $795.00 from Innovative Wealth Builders. I said they should not have done this as I already paid for this service back in June by another card and I never gave them permission to charge this card. Discover advised me to contact Innovative Wealth Builders and see if I could settle this issue with them myself. I called immediately and spoke with Amy (who I am told is my financial advisor) Amy agreed with me over and over again and verbal told me that I was correct that this charge was an error and they would refund the money back to my account. But this will take 2 billing cycles. I kept calling back every two weeks to find out the status. I kept getting the same answers over and over again. I then called My Discover and filed a dispute on this charge with this company. On August 15th I received a letter from Discover (dated August 8th) in this letter was attachments from this company with my signature and a date that says 11/09/0— (as you can see the year is blank. Also my last four digits of my SS number was incorrect. Plus as discussed above I was advised by Amy that this was an error. After getting this letter I called Discover and this is where I was told the charge is correct and the dispute is over and they where going to put this charge back on my account. I told the story to Discover and they advised me that I should call this company back again and If I get no where they will open this case back up. I called Innovative Wealth Builders on 08/15 at 5:15 pm. They receptionist that answered the phone advised me that my advisor has gone home for the day and she will take a message and call me back in the morning. Amy, my advisor, called me back on 08/16 at 9:30 am I explained the situation to her again and she told me that her company or the billing department could not do a refund on my account because I filed a dispute and they had to wait to the case was closed. I advised Amy that this case was closed on August 8th. She told me at this time that she sees that it was on August 10th and the billing department should be refunding my card but will take two billing cycles. She then told me (but never mentioned this before) that her company switched programs a 1 1/2 ago and when this happened it showed that I never paid for services. So they charged my credit card. Remember I never gave them permission for my discover and they already charged my Visa (a one time fee) on July. But said over and over again that she is very sorry. I then asked since this is putting back on my discover because your company told my discover that the charge was correct who is going to pay the interest rate on this. Amy had no answers. Since I was getting no where with her I asked to speak to her supervisor Laura. Laura called me back arount 2 pm on 08/16. I went over all this information again with her and she advised me they are waiting for this case to be closed. I told Laura I was just advised by Amy that the case was closed on 08/10. Laura stated that Amy gave me false information on this. I then asked Laura to contact my discover and they will advise her that the case was closed. Laura refused to do this as she stated that she could not do this. Being very frustrated with this I said I will contact discover again and call my lawyer to get this situation resolved and hung up. Later that evening arount 4:40 pm I contacted Discover and I was advised that I could re open this case again but to try one more time with this company before this action as Innovative Wealth told me that filing a dispute holds up the process of a refund. Discover also told me that a refund should take no more two weeks and would show up on my 2nd billing statement but I could call to see if it was credited. I agreed to this and called Innovative Wealth on 08/17 at this time I was on hold for 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my call. Amy answered at this time I explained what discover told me and again she had no answers. I finally asked her again, " this will be credited to my account right" she replied " yes" I said " this is not a scam that you are pulling on my right?", she replied " no". I said can you please send me something in writing that states that I will be credited. Amy advised me she cant do that. She has to ask her supervisor Laura. I then said then what can you do for me. She said well I can look at you credit cards again and lower the interest rate. I laughed and said the only interest I will be charged is the charge that your company put on my card in error. She said well I can work on that. I replied "please no more favors, you just don't get it". She then told Laura's supervisor to call me. Which she did on 08/17 at 2:00 pm. Her name is Lisa. I asked Lisa for this letter stating that it will be refunded to my account. She stated she can't do this. I then said that I will be filing a complaint with Consumer protection services and calling Channel 2 news and re-opening dispute with my discover.

This company charged a credit card without my approval!!! I have a copy of my original and one time fee from my visa.
