I Signed in to my limewire account to download songs to my itunes and when I went to play one a recorded voice came on saying " DUE TO A COURT SETTLEMENT, ALL LIMEWIRE AND FROSTWIRE USERS ARE ENTITLED TO A CHOICE OF FREE ITEMS FROM THE IFREECLUB, ALL YOU WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR WAS A $19.95 PER ITEM SHIPPING FEE " So I went to the website, took the free tour and signed up for a one time use of the club. I chose my two items (all of them were very extravagant and expensive) I chose a iPad2 and Sony Bravia 53in TV. I was then emailed a letter thanking me for my selections and informing me that I would receive my items within 6-8 weeks due to the court processing time. Needless to say 8 weeks went by and I receieved nothing. I emailed them and have since received about 10 emails from a James Clarkson (customer service rep) appologizing and assuring me that I was still going to receive what I paid shipping for. Again, nothing came so I sent another e-mail requesting a response from a supervisor and then received a email from a Tim Bizek (Supervisor for Customer Service) stating his sincere appologies and how "this" has never happened before and that my items will be re-shipped on Monday (8/15). So that is it. Any suggestions. I really wanted to believe that I would receive the items I selected. They have a few news and broadcasting icons on their website which made it look very authentic and official. I am sad that I wasted $40.00, but mostly sad that I am not receieving what I was promised. Thanks for listening.
