What appeared to be a Facebook survey appeared in my browser, not appearing as a pop-up, asking a few questions and then my cell number. I entered the number and received an SMS messages with a 4-digit PIN and mention of a $9.99 monthly charge. I did not enter the PIN in my computer's browser but was not allowed to exit the browser. (It kept insisting on the PIN and wouldn't close.) I closed with Task Manager and put a parental controls block on my line with my mobile service provider, so no charge could be added.
