Pauly Hap, owner/loan consultant of Hap mortgage, offered to help me apply for loan modification. He was asking $3,000.00, which is $1500 upfront then $1500 after two weeks. Or one full payment of $2,000. He promised that if the application is denied, he will refund my money. The mortgage company send me a letter saying my application was denied. I tried calling him but he never answer my call and his voice mail is full. I didn't give him the other $1500. GMAC, the mortgage company, helped me apply for modification loan for free and I got my mortgage modified.
