I hired Mr. Vaquez to do a roof repair on my house to repair a leak. Mr. Vasquez worked for several hours on Monday and returned on Tues afternoon and asked for the $300. We agreed on for the repair, stating hr ran into a problem and needed to purchase some more repair equipment. Like a dummy I gave him the $300 and he then packed up his ladder and left. I put my ladder up, climbed to the roof and found the job half done and the tiles he removed were lying on my neighbors roof. I trusted Mr. Vasques because he was recommended by a neighbor, a painting contractor.
Never again will I hire an unlicensed contractor.
