On July 28 I followed an online recommendation to try this auction site. Their login page offered 25 free bids after I filled out information. This was: my Name, E-mail address, Shipping address, and the name and number of the credit card I would be using. After I filled these out, a new screen congratulated me for having bought 132 bids for $99, and recieving 25 'free' bids. I never authourized any purchase at all. I immediatly e-mailed them and said I did not attempt to buy bids and not to debit my account. This e-mail has gone unacknowledged and my account has been debited. This is absolute fraud. My bank says the merchant has verified my info and therefore the debit stands. They did give Grabswags '888' number and suggest I call it. I just did several times and it doesn't even ring —rather, 'call ended' appears immediatly on my phone. This is the same # the site gives in its 'Terms and Conditions' text. I want to do something about this and get my money back, as well as compensation for the aggravation. I also just read that if bids aren't used in 90 days they go away. Surely there is something illegal going on here. Who can help? Regards, Bob Forst
