I received a collection letter from a Richard Tartaglia Deputy Tax Collector from Ashland, MA. The letter stated that I owe this amount to the Town of Norwood for 1987 taxes, interest & charges for two vehicles. I moved from Norwood to California in 1986 and sold those vehicles that same year. Apparently this collector obtained these records from the Town and has irresponsibly developed collection letters hoping to collect something from naive people. This was the first time I have heard of this in 25 years. Unbelievable.
