Ripoff, request $279 one time fee for a mastercard with a $3000 limit

Three weeks ago Imperial Benefit called me with a great deal for a one time fee of $279.00 I could get a Mastercard with a limit of $3000. I have been in need of a credit card and this deal sounded ligit. I gave the first person all of the required information. He told me someone would call back, which they did, and verify everything.

The second call was recorded and the person sound offical. He confirmeded everything with me and gave me a return number. When I called the number it was a different company all together. I did call my bank to stop payment, but I didn't have the correct informaiton to do this. So I waited, they took the money out on the day they said they would. I thought this must be legit.

I have been waiting, everyday checking the mail for this credit card I desperatly need. And I have not recieved anythign. I was able to get the companies correct name from my bank and I looked it up on the internet. The first thing that popped up was a consumer complaints from other people that have experienced the same thing. They shared there stories about this company. Someone listed the companies address and phone number.

I called and spoke with "Jimmy Butta" at Imperial Benefit. He was very rude and kept repeating that I was not being patient and would recieve the "Benefits Package", not a Mastercard, in 30 business days. "Do you know what 30 business days is", he said to me. He also told me I could refund the package if I was not happy, ya right, if I recieve anythign at all. He told me the manager wasn't in until 12:00 PM and NO I could not get a refund. He played back my recorded conversation from the first phone call. After that he told me he was right and I was wrong and I owed him an applogy and a "kiss on the cheek". He also said "How about I come to Macomb Twp, MI, and I take you on a date". Now, how does this sound for a professional phone call?

Needless to say, I made no head way with this ridiculous "customer service" representative, A.K. A a scam artist. I will probably never see my $279 again and if I recieve anything in the mail from Imperial Benfit it will most likely be a bunch of junk and more scams. I am writing this in hope this will not happen to others.

Respectfully,

Renee
Macomb Twp, Michigan
U.S.A.
