Nationwide Temporary Employment - Mystery Shopping, Market Research
Consumer Report

I Received a letter in the mail on October 10 what appeared to be a legitimate way to earn extra income. Accompanied with the letter was a check paid to the order of my name in the amount of #3,970.00 which I was suppose to deposit into my checking account. I was somewhat hesitant but I myself have dealt with mystery shoppers when I was working retail. I was asked to call this telephone number if I was interested in the position. I call the number and spoke to a John Adams (training agent). Mr Adams proceded to tell me what my first assignment was which going into a Western Union or Money Gram and evaluate their services by transferring $3420.00 to a Rita Garner in Canada-Vancover British Columbia. Then I was suppose to go to Walmart with $51.00 to shop and evaluate their services and their professionalism. After I've completed both assignments I filled out an evaluation form and faxed it to Mr Adams. I was instructed to call Mr Adams back to verify the money transfer went through and of course it did. I tried calling Mr Adams the next day because I wanted to know what my next assignment would be and all I got a message saying the answering machine was full and not taking any more messages. Four days later I received a letter from my bank saying that the check I deposited came back insufficient funds. At that point I realized " I was scammed". I call the police to file a report but the officer said it was nothing they do. So I got stuck having to pay my bank back the money. I was livid to say the least.
