I placed an add on Petfinders.com about 3 of my cats that I am trying to find homes for. I recieved an e-mail from a lady named Michelle Lawson saying that she wanted to adopted one of my cats from me. She lives in Beverly Hills, CA. And was going to have a company ship the animal to her home. She was also going to give us a donation cause she knew times are rough. I have several e-mails from her and also one e-mail from the company that was supposed to come and get my cat. I will forward those to you and give anymore detail that is needed at that point. I recieved a check via FedEx today and took it to the bank to cash it to be able to do the shipping side of the process. That is when I found out that the check was a fraud. I am irritated that there are actually 3-4 companies involved and then myself. The check was written off of a valid account but it was not a valid transaction. Please get back to me as soon as possible in regards to the matter.
