I received a phone call at work from this company threatening to have local law enforcement officials arrest me from work regarding a legal matter. I had no idea what this was about. I called the gentleman back, he informed me that I owed money for a payday loan that I never even took out. I was in the middle of trying to buy a home with my fiance so I didn't want anything bad on my credit report. I was able to make arrangements with them to pay off a total of $560 due to the fact that I am on workman's comp and only working certain hours. I paid it all off, so I thought, at the end of June. July 19 they decided to take out money from my account, $165.57, without my knowledge. They overdrew my account. Now I'm trying to get ahold of the man I was dealing with. He conviently no longer works there. I called on July 28 and was told they would get back to me at the end of the day. No phone call. July 29 I called 3 times. Twice I was put on hold for over 10 minutes, the third time I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was not transferred anywhere.instead I was asked my name, then was yelled at by this man saying they were very upset with me for taking 3 years to pay this money back. He threatened me with more charges and will report it to the credit bureau if I called back again. He said they have the right by law to do all of this and charge me another $250 fee on top of it. He then told me to go ahead and call again and by Monday they will be calling me for another $250.
