Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. Went shopping for flowers for mom for mother's day. Settled on Teleflora because of statements like, "Teleflora was founded over 77 years ago. You can be confident that your flower order
will be filled and delivered the same-day by a local Teleflora florist to your complete satisfaction.." and "same day delivery on all bouquets" which they boast on their website. However, although ordering at 10 am on a Saturday for a delivery the following day, they did not keep their promise of delivery or satisfaction. My mother never received her flowers. I even called teleflora late Sunday evening to check on delivery, provided them with my confirmation number, and after being put on hold was told they could not get in touch with the florist but that they would call me and leave me a message when my flowers were delivered. Another 24 hours passed, and when I got in from work at approximately 5 pm on Monday, I called my mother to see if maybe the flowers came the previous evening. They had not, and upon checking my home phone messages, surprise, surprise: no call from teleflora. I checked my credit card statement online, and indeed I had been billed same day as I ordered. However, upon calling teleflora again on Monday, the customer service agent, nor the supervisor were able to give me a clear answer about why my flowers weren't delivered or at least why I wasn't informed so I could have made different arrangements to ensure SOMETHING arrived for my mother on Mother's day.in fact, the supervisor, Nell, kept cutting me off and trying to hang up on me when I continued to ask for clarification about why the flowers were delivered. I didn't understand and they were talking in circles. First they blamed the cut off time for the order, then said the order was deleted in their systems, and all the while I'm asking well why wasn't I informed so I could have opted for something different, and that's when the excuse would change.

In addition to that, their automated system is wacky. The e-mailed me a confirmation number when I placed my order. However, when I called to confirm and was asked to enter my confirmation number, the automated system kept asking me to enter it again and then after several attempts hung up on me. I had to then call back and wait to speak to a live person in order to get any answers and still was left unsatisfied.

Customer service and just service period is poor. Having to argue about getting my money back is certainly not customer satisfaction, and if they were guaranteeing same day delivery, why could they not have filled my order placed more than 24 hours before? And if they couldn't, because I understand things happen, why wasn't I least informed of that?

When I called today to explain that my mom spent all day yesterday waiting for flowers that never came, all they did was apologize, call the florist, get back on the line with me and say, oh... They are on the way... At 5:30 pm the evening AFTER mother's day. That's unacceptable in my book.
