We have been looking for an African Grey Parrot, we saw one online and we contacted this company. It said $250 for this parrot so we sent the money and we were suppose to get the bird on tuesday (7-12-11) @4:45... It never came. The guy called us said that he needed an additional $1000 for insurance, so we sent it and he said it would be here @4:45 on wednesday (7-13-11). Then they called againg saying that they needed an additional $300 for the crate because the crate it was in was too small and if they didn't get a bigger one the bird would die, so we sent the additional $300 and he said the bird would be here. Then they called and said they were in N.C. And stated that they needed $500 more dollars because they couldn't get into Maryland because they needed a permit and that is what the $500 would be for. We told them that we didn't have it and they said they would take the bird back to Georgia and he would send us the address of where we could pick up the bird. So when we checked our e-mail he sent an address but when we checked where this address was, it was an address of a restaurant in Georgia. When tried to contact the lady we first talked to and noone is returning our e-mail. So we are out $1550 and no bird... We are very frustrated and don't know where else to turn. So I hope there is something we can do and I hope that you can help us. We have all the receipts of all the money we have sent and we printed out the e-mails that we gotten. Thank you.
