I was travelling to Utica, NY for a graduation party. While driving on Interstate 90, traffic was moving over to the passing lane because of a disabled vehicle in the right lane. As I was driving, a huge piece of debris was struck by vehicles in front of me and unable to avoid it, I also hit this debris. I was able to continue to my destination in Utica. However, when I went to drive my car later that afternoon, there was fluid all over the driveway and I could not drive my vehicle. Since it was a Saturday afternoon, I had to wait until the following Monday and have my car towed to Steet Ponte Imports for repairs.

I was told that I had torn off my transmission covers and that all my transmission fluid had leaked out. Parts were ordered and repairs were made and I was able to return to my home in Ohio that Thursday.

Upon my return home, I made an appointment with my local dealer to have my car checked out and found out that I had cracked my engine mount completely in half and I should never have driven my car one mile let alone the 400 miles I had driven to get back to Ohio.

I am very concerned that this dealership missed this major damage to my vehicle and cannot believe I risked my life believing that the repairs I paid for ($997.92) were all that were needed.

I telephoned the dealership and spoke with the Service Manager - Craig LaMark. He told me they don't deal with "accident" damage, that they aren't a body shop and he was really sorry. Well sorry doesn't cut it for me and their invoice clearly states body shop hours Monday-Friday 8AM to 5 PM.
