I hired top test prep to help us through college admissions proces for my daugther. Far from helping us "navigate" the process, Ross Blankenship, the founder of the company was nothing more than a glorified essay editor. There was no comprehensive plan, goals set, timetables or guidance. The whole experience was very dis-organized with Ross missing more than one pre-scheduled phone call and not keeping us in the loop.in fact, knowing we had an early decision application to submit, he was completely unavailable and out of touch at the last moment and we had to submit the applicaiton and essay without him ever reviewing it. Things only went downhill from then on. I had paid for him to work with us on 5 schools and when I wrote to express my dissatisfaction over the service I received and to ask if he could charge me by the hour for the service that he feels he has rendered and to refund the difference, Ross refused and said it was against company policy. We were trapped since the payment was made by googlecheckouot (non disputable) and had to try and make the best of the situation. Based on our ED application disaster with Ross, I asked again for a timetable so there is no mis-communication and again received none. This led to more chaos and in the end, we got about 5-6 hours his time for $6500. The most expensive and least useful service and the worst experience ever.
