Hewlett Packard Co
My Paid Service? - Pavilion dv7 1232nr vista

Short version.

I purchased a HP dv7 Notebook with vista home premium OS. From day one I have had nothing but problems with it, and it has now been sent in five times. I purchase extended warrenties, and tech support, and have around three novels of paperworks documenting each problem, and how I was treated.

If I had the knowledge I have now I would have never purchased that particular model of OS system.

The first time it went in for service, I had a case manager that went out of their way to please me, and I even told them they did not have to do anything for me. They gave me another year of paid tech support, new accessories, and $45 worth of coupons, that always run out before I can use them. (ink).

Now do to the computer, I have lost my perfect GPA, because I cannot use other options such as leaving to go to the library and use a computer due to my disablilites.

My computer is barley 2 years old, and I have spent thousands on other products from HP to become a "preferred customer".

My computer is never fixed when it comes back, and I have spent more time learning how to keep my computer running just to attend college which took time away from my studies.

I have offered to pay the difference if they would just give me a different machine of equal or lessor value, offered to buy windows 7, anything just so I can have a computer to finish something before I die.

I have received rude service, arguements that focus on me not knowing my computer, and have hundreds of hours logged with remote service, and have learned so much about computers, but now I cannot even use that knowledge because my computer was faulty from the beginning.

This has been going on since November of have been mentally, and physically sick. I have had others try to deal with them and they received the same treatment.

All I want is a reliable machine that will last, and I do not have to do my own tech service, because I dont have time to be ridiculed or treated like a fool.

I am ready to call a tv news station that troubleshoots problems such as this but do not know if I could handle all the stuff involved, without having an attack, that is related to my disabilities.

Does anyone know who, what or where I should go to resolve this situation. Hp just wants to sell me another computer. I have no money, only receive expense money from school which I have to pay back and am trying not to use, but I may have to borrow enough to purchase another computer, when I have no fault warrenties.

Even some of the techs who have helped me told me NO you should not have to buy another computer.

I believe I am being fair by offering to pay a difference or even downgrade, (do not want to) just to get a good machine.

I can prove that this machine is faulty and not due to anything I have done. That is the whole reason for paying for tech support.

I wrote the CEO of the company a while back and a case manager called me, and I put her on speaker phone so everyone could hear. She was the rudest, meanest, uncaring person I have ever spoke to, and if it were my company that person would of hit the door.

I have been honest, patient, and waited and all I have got for this is pain, failure, and severe depression because I went from a perfect GPA, to failing and the reason was due to my computer, not anything I have done.

I know this could be resolved so both parties could be happy, and I should not have to pay our another 700-900 dollars, so I can try to finish school (which now depends on money I had to use to rent, use, or puchase other products from Hp. I believed my products were investments to help me when I graduated in July, now I do not know if I will even be able to graduate.

I have not conveyed the severe problems this issue has caused, and can prove this disruption has affected my mental and physical conditions. I use to weight 120, now I am under 100 pounds, cry all the time, and feel like my life is over and will be if I do not complete my goal.

People say don't give up, but when you have beaten you head up against a brick wall for months, I am not surprized that I am not dead. I have worked with people who have killed themselves over less. I am not going to have to worry about killing myself, because I think HP will take care of that for me when I have a stroke, or heartattack due to the severe problems i am having to face, and cannot control.

I paid well for everything I have purchased from HP and have sold 6 computers, 3 printers, and recommened HP for over a year now. Those people now are second guessing their decision to follow my suggestions about HP being the best. I will never again reccommend HP to anyone and make sure till the day I die that everyone knows the treatment I received after spending thousands on thier products

Can anyone suggest anything I can do about this? If I buy another computer is there another company better than HP? And will honor and not argue with their customers? A company that will work to resolve to make the customer happy, and not live off of people like me who need the technology to advance themselves, and believes the customer is always right especially when they have hard copy documentation that proves what they say is true?

Please help, i start school again in 12 days, and have to take classes over for the first time in my life. Then i may not have the money to graduate because of this problem.

Helpless, Hopeless, "preferred HP customer" lol.
