I wanted to let the folks considering moving in the Portland metropolitan area that my move experience wwith a professional mover called Blue Bird was great. I was a little nervous in my decision to find professionals - but Bue Bird offered to come to our house and explain everything about moving. I did not know that the rates and services were regulated by the Public Utilities Commission. However, after evalutaing 5 moving firms, we selected Blue Bird and had a great move. They called day before the move to tell us ofour mover arrival time for the next day, the crew arrived in uniform and made the move fun, even though we were stressed. At the end of the day, we gave a $20 tip to each mover and paid the bill. Our estimate was $1400, the invoice was $1620 - even though it took a little longer, the value was certainly there for this service - and the crew worked very hard. We want to thank this company for their service!
