Hi, my wife purchased an HP Pavilion dv2500, Serial Number 2CE88223PBQ. The battery wasn't affected by the recall. We have burned ourselves multiple times from not only the powerblock, but the computer itself. It is so hot, it instantly burns you. This is a known problem, that representatives at HP have said isn't an issue. I expect to have a laptop that doesn't burn me within a few minutes of being on. To say it isn't a known issue is unacceptable. The laptop is within reach of children and the fact that we will have to make sure the laptop is never within reach, even when we use it, is unacceptable.
We will be contacting an attorney if a settlement on this issue can't be reached. We appreciate and look forward to your response in this situation. Thanks.
