When you call pods, they give you, up front, every charge to expect and when to expect it. Yes, it is a tad expensive, but well worth it. Here are the reaons it worked out well for us: 1. The charges were all layed out and when they will be charging you these charges on your credit card. I also recieved a follow up e-mail putting it all in writing.
2. It is easy to change dates. We moved our move up one month and it was not a problem. We had the pod delivered when we wanted it. We also called last minute and told them we were finished loading early could they come pick it up. There came a day early, with 12 hours notice.
3. EVERY person I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I did not have a single problem.
4. I got an e-mail and a phone call of when they were coming to deliver my pod after the move. It was right on time.
5. You don't have to be there when they pick up or deliver the pod. That was great because we had 1000 miles to drive and did not want to wait on anyone.
6. I was afraid of driving a truck 1000 miles and after driving in the poring rain for more than 1/2 the trip, I could not have been happier with that decision.
7. The pod itself was easy to load, the top made it easy to see, the ground level was a back saver.
I would highly recomend this comany to anyone!!
